Everything between the loading berth and the receiver gate.

Four service lines that we sell separately and run as one file. Most customers take the whole leg; some take only the part their own operation cannot cover.

Sea and river freight

We book barge capacity on the Danube and fix coaster and handysize tonnage in the Black Sea. Convoys are planned around the lock windows at Iron Gate I and II and around the draught over the Sulina bar, which is the constraint that actually decides a lifting.

  • Dry bulk: grain, oilseeds, pulses, fertiliser, coal, ore and aggregates
  • Breakbulk and project pieces, including over-dimensional lifts
  • Full and part cargoes, from a single barge through to convoy quantities
  • Voyage and time chartering, with laytime and demurrage settled against the owner
  • Marine cargo insurance arranged on request
  • Quoted FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT or DAP under Incoterms 2020

Port operations

Booking a berth is the easy half. The work is making sure the cargo, the surveyor, the labour and the silo are all at the quay in the same hour.

  • Berth nomination and vessel line-up at river and sea terminals
  • Stevedoring, trimming and hold cleaning supervision
  • Silo, flat store and open yard handling
  • Draught surveys, sampling and independent weight determination
  • Loading and discharge supervision with photographic reporting
  • Statement of facts and time sheets issued for every call

Multimodal and road

A river port is only useful if the cargo reaches it. We run the pre-carriage and on-carriage legs and keep one set of documents across the whole chain.

  • FTL and LTL road across the EU, Turkey, Moldova and Ukraine
  • Rail wagons to and from Danube and Black Sea terminals
  • Container drayage and empty repositioning
  • Bonded and non-bonded warehousing at transit points
  • Temperature-controlled and tarpaulin equipment where the cargo needs it
  • One waybill and one point of contact for the whole movement

Customs brokerage

The corridor crosses EU and non-EU borders in both directions. Declarations, transit and certification are handled in-house rather than passed to a third party.

  • Export and import declarations in the EU, Turkey and Ukraine
  • Transit under T1 and TIR, with the guarantee arranged
  • Certificates of origin, EUR.1 and A.TR movement certificates
  • Phytosanitary and veterinary certification for agricultural cargo
  • Tariff classification, valuation and preferential origin advice
  • Post-clearance file retention for the statutory period

Terms we contract on

We quote against Incoterms 2020 and standard forwarding conditions. Where a buyer or seller needs a different allocation of cost and risk, say so at enquiry stage and it is priced in rather than argued about later.

  • EXW and FCA at the loading point
  • FOB at Danube and Black Sea berths
  • CFR and CIF to a nominated discharge port
  • CPT and CIP for multimodal moves
  • DAP and DDP where the receiver wants a delivered price
  • Charter parties on GENCON and SYNACOMEX forms

Tell us what needs to move.

Route, cargo, tonnage and the month you need it in. That is enough for a first indication.
