Most of the delay on this corridor happens on land, not on the water.

The delay happens at a terminal that was never booked, at a customs window that closed at 16:00, or in the gap between two subcontractors who each assumed the other was holding the file.

We take the whole leg instead. One contract, one file reference, and one person who picks up the phone at 02:00 when a convoy is held at Sulina.

Trading

The trading desk

Some cargoes are easier to buy than to book. Our desk takes its own positions in grain, oilseeds, pulses and fertiliser, and delivers on the same terms we quote for freight.

  • Milling and feed wheat
  • Corn
  • Feed barley
  • Sunflower seed and meal
  • Rapeseed
  • Peas and pulses
  • Urea and NPK

Where we work

The corridor runs from the Bavarian canal head to the Sulina mouth and out into the Black Sea. River kilometres are counted upstream from Sulina, which is how berths and passage notices are quoted.
